True, but there's also currently no easy way to categorise fairly well represented stuff like Australian fandom, or English language fandom of Japanese canon, and I think if things were set up to categorise them then the same system could more easily be used to document fandom in languages other than English for the odd times when someone does have something to say about it (which might then make people from those fandoms feel more included, maybe?).
