That is really useful information: thank you! You know, you were person whose suggestions really struck me, when the new committee first came on board and I was looking over gardeners' and other users' suggestions for where Fanlore needed improvement: you had commented back then that we really needed an explicit images policy, and now I see why you were saying that.

Explicit images like the ones you link to there are ones that we'd definitely like to see edited, so that the image page has the link to the appropriate image template for such an image; and the article pages that link to that image need to be edited so that they use that same, appropriate image template (in the case of the first image you link, that would be a simple "explicit" image template. The second image on the second page needs the underage warning image template, I agree).Then, the image would appear in thumbnail with the right warning text on the article page.

I think that once the policy is adopted, that we'd set up a page on Fanlore for people to post links to image pages and article pages like the ones you list above, that need to have the image templates edited. Then, as people had time and interest in doing so, the image templates could be edited to bring them into compliance with the policy.
