Help with OpenID

I am currently finding that whenever I close my browser I get logged out of Fanlore. Is there any way to make it remember who I am with a cookie or anything? Having to login every time is annoying - I'd like it to remember that cesy.dreamwidth.org is me on this computer.

Did you maybe accept the fanlore cookie only for the session, or have your browsers set to clear cookies? I used to have trouble in that I had to log in every time, but that was because I accidentally only accepted the cookie from fanlore for one session. Now I stay logged in for longer, though every now and then it requires me to log in.

Thank you - checking that inspired me to find the problem. It turns out there's a preference on Fanlore for "Remember me on this computer", which doesn't show when you're just logging in, only on the preferences page.

Yeah, you have to tick the little remember me box when you log in. I was having the same trouble and that fixed it up.

My problem was that I couldn't find the box - it doesn't show when you log in for OpenID, only buried in Preferences.
