What do you mean there's no article on...

So I keep seeing people mention that--horrors--there's no article on [this famous anime/that decade-old convention/this person you really should have heard of]. It's all very well and good to tell people to start the article themselves, but it's kind of intimidating to start from scratch or put in a mostly blank placeholder that says "Well I know it's a big fandom, but..."

So, with that in mind, what articles do you wish someone else had already written so you wouldn't have to? My top ones are Weiß Kreuz and Saiyuki (all of my friends were in them once upon a time, but I never really was).

I read Weiß Kreuz fic, but mostly in German, and pre-Glühen.

I honestly wish people would work more on the Harry Potter articles, because while it is my main fandom, I have virtually no idea when it comes to the fandom's history.

Me too, thanks to the f_w wiki. But that can't really be everything.

I made a few stabs at the Harry Potter articles before I got distracted by Star Trek. Someone suggested that since the fandom was so overwhelmingly HUGE, we should divide it up into smaller sections--separate articles for different concepts/events/whatever.

If we started more pairing pages and got people who were there on ground, so to speak, to write up their recollections, it might be easier to figure out what events/people/concepts relating to individual ships should get a separate article or be referenced on other existing HP articles.

Maybe advertise in HP communities on lj?

When last I checked, there was a sad dearth of information in the Farscape pages.

Naruto. A couple of us have made a start on it, but it's a gigantic project and I've been out of the fandom too long to do it properly :/
