May I direct your attention to a few discussions on the wiki? These might benefit from more input.

We've got a draft template for vids that's ready to be used if no one can think of any more/different fields to put in it.

We're also discussing how to divide up the zine category into more manageable chunks.

And Doro has asked about a template for timelines and/or histories.

For the vid template, I believe that the following elements might be of interest:

+ Character(s)/Pairing(s)
+ Software used (if known)

I believe that summary and any other relevant notes might be added in the body of the entry otherwise.

Indeed, and the zine-category discussion is developing interesting (if large and intimidating) sidelights, on which multiple viewpoints would be very much welcome. (He said, having posted long-winded suggestions over on the relevant talk page.)
