Oh, help help.
I spent part of this afternoon puttering around making stubs for characters and ships -- but I'm confused about the naming of pairing pages, and afraid I put some things in the wrong places.
Could somebody explain to me in small words how to create subpages with slashes in their titles? I want, for example, Buffy/Spike to appear as a subpage of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as McKay/Sheppard does for Stargate Atlantis. What do I type in the search box to get that?
Thanks.

McKay/Sheppard actually looks like SGA >> McKay >> Sheppard, if we were to indicate subpages with chirons instead of slashes. It just so happens that if you go to the /Sheppard subpage of McKay, you get a page about Mckay/Sheppard.
But, despite the model looking funky, if you go to SGA >> Sheppard/Mckay, you get the page you expect, so it sortakinda works anyway.
So, if you want to create BtVS/Buffy/Spike, it will technically be the Spike subpage of Buffy, but for our our purposes, it will be the Buffy/Spike subpage of BtVS.
Clear like mud?

It would be excellent if the answer got added to http://fanlore.org/wiki/Help:Subpages, as I think the subject is likely to come up again.

I'll add this to the help page, though.
I'm wondering, also, if I can hack our subpage extension to use chirons, since the slash character is so frackin' useful in fandom.

So, is there no way to get Angel/Spike to show up as a subpage of "Angel the Series", because Angel is a character?

Hey, I'm looking at the A:tS/Angel page now, and its little template box doesn't show Spike as a subpage. That's...quirky. So I guess there's no way to find Angel/Spike except via links in the main text area (or the search function), huh?

Um, if this makes no sense, respond, and I will try to explicate.
